Rudy Gay and the Memphis Grizzlies will look to nab their third straight win as they host the Chicago Bulls at the FedEx Forum. The Grizzlies have had 15 days to get over the hump and devise a game plan after putting up a 64-point performance in their last meeting.
Though it’s not his hometown, the reigning MVP, Derrick Rose feels like his return to Memphis, his college town, is going to be “something special.” Scoring only 16 points in their last meeting in only 25 minutes of play, lets hope that we see more of Rose in this one.
In order for Memphis to have success against this defensive squad they are going to have to look for more offense out of their franchise player, Rudy Gay. The last time these two teams met, Gay only scored 5 points, Josh Davis and Sam Young were the only Grizzlies who scored double digits in points.
Forward, Zach Randolph saw limited minutes due to an injury, but the Grizzlies fully expect Randolph to play starter minutes this time around.
Chicago also has their share of injuries. Guard, Richard “Rip” Hamilton continues to suffer from a groin injury that has kept him out of the past few games, including the January 1st game against the Grizzlies on Chicago.
With Chicago holding the best record in the NBA (12-2) the Memphis Grizzlies are going to have their hands full this afternoon. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:00pm EST.

I have always wanted to start this up again and with my school schedule allowing me to do so I am very excited. Being 9-2 to start this short season is awesome and I hope we can get healthy and make this push for a Championship. Last night’s win without Rose was a big one, especially with J.L. stepping up big time and pouring in 25 points, it’s like we never missed a beat. Expect more from me, mostly on game days but if I’ve got something to post then I shall. I hope to get more followers with this blog as I get more active. Best Wishes.
I haven’t been too active on this thing but I think its time to bring it back, with the Bulls playing as well as they have been I think it will be exciting to keep this up, I’ll be doing an entry when I can, most likely on Friday prior to the Bulls/Magic game. Keep checking back and reading, I appreciate it.
So I went on a hunt for this hat (pic is not mine) a I could not find it! So I had to settle for a Phoenix Suns snapback, along with a Anaheim ducks and Pittsburgh Penguins hats (not a fan of ether team, just the hats haha!) So much for me getting a bulls snapback :( but I did get a Boozer jersey, so it makes up for it! I know this is pretty random, but Im excited to start this back up regularly, which will be in the next week or two! so lets try and get my blog out there people! please!
Though this cover is a week or more old, can we really trust what not only the people of SLAM say, but Flash himself?
Earlier in the week Dwyane Wade met with the Bulls not once, but twice and was very pleased with what came from those meetings. Though earlier in the off-season period Wade had said he was set to re-sign in Miami, but now he’s “On the fence.”
To be honest I can’t wait to see what happens this off-season and I want my answers sooner rather than later so we can bask in the greatness that we call Bulls Basketball
I have returned! and what great timing as the Chicago Bulls prepare to officially begin their off-season in less than 12 hours. I’m ready to see what Chicago does with their funds and im here to give you the latest on your Chicago Bulls!
As the trade deadline approached on thursday the Chicago Bulls decided to make some moves that would help their situation going into the 2010 free agency period. The Bulls look to make an offer to any superstar that decides to test free agency, more specifically Dwyane Wade.
On Thursday the Bulls made two deals, one with Milwaukee and another with Charlotte. In the deal with the Bucks, Chicago acquired Hakim Warrick and Joe Alexander as they parted ways with John Salmons. In their second deal which was with the Charlotte Bobcats the Bulls acquired Flip Murray, Acie Law and the Bobcats’ first round pick for the upcoming draft for Tyrus Thomas.
These new acquisitions have been playing to their strengths and providing the Bulls with the spark that they need with the stand out player being Hakim Warrick. Hakim is averaging 12.5 points per game and 9.0 rebounds per game after his first two games as a Bull.
